Something new for my photography biz

I am going to offer for $150.00 a cd of all of the images from your session. I will also have a copy right release for you to have. You still have to pay the session fee of course.

I am posting this on here b/c I closed my photography blog. I just wasnt using it enough to keep.

I had plans for some pics...

but it didnt turn out that way! I thought I would do something different and roll my hair with the new steam rollers and do Lauren's also. So I did and it has been since Jon and I got married since I have rolled my hair and OH MY I showed him and all he did was laugh!!! It poofed out HUGE! I tried to make it work but it was just too curly! I rolled it wrong to begin with so it looked terrible! So after that I wasnt going to roll Lauren's! lol! I tried to flat iron it out but it still is so poofy! Then we go to take pics and my remote control's battery is dead so I got two ok pics and that was it! I will try again sometime soon. I thought I was going to be able to get some with Jon but he ended up being called into work.

OH so who thinks it is fair that I cook again tonight! I did cook last night and Jon didnt eat a bit of it! So I told him we needed to eat it tonight! He wasnt too happy about it! I see no reason to waste a good meal!

It snowed AGAIN!!!

We woke up to snow again today! Lauren LOVES playing in it! We got to try out her new raincoat and new boots also!

I sure LOVE a sale!

Gymboree is doing an AWESOME sale! Some things are 4.99! So of course Lauren and I had to run up there and check it out! I was not exactly a fan of the line before I heard 4.99! lol! So I got the raincoat and t-shirt for 4.99 and the leggings werent on sale. I like the way the look for the shirt though so I may just keep them. I wish I could have gotten some short sleeve tops for her but they didnt have any. Or any I liked. There were women leaving with bags and bags of things!

My child was THAT child everyone stares at!

Yep that is right Jon's child has been horrible today! You know everytime you go somewhere with kids around there is always that one that throws a fit and you are saying to yourself thank god that isnt my child! Today was so nice outside so I thought let's go to the park to play. I can get some excersie and Lauren can play. We get there and she was having a great time! It is truly amazing how kids just want to play and dont care who you are dont judge just get right in and play. Adults should be so much more like that. Anyway as I am sitting there watching my child it hits me she is a big girl! Running around talking up a storm it was beautiful! Then I start seeing how she is so great with the kids and wants to play and so friendly I think maybe I should look into a Mother's day out before we start pre-school this coming Aug. Then I see how she picks up what all the other kids are saying and doing...and I think hmmm maybe not so good. I know it will happen no matter what though. I then have to tell Lauren do not throw things, do not hit people. So this goes on they are playing pirates. She goes along with the group of kids off the playground area and turns out they are playing in the mud. My child no Jon's child and a little boy are the only ones that stay there and I tell her to stop and she says we are playing pirates I stand her up and tell her to go back to the playground or we will leave. This sets the bomb off! She goes limp and falls down crying saying she wants to play! So I spank her and stand her up and tell her to go play or we will leave. She does just this. But then only a few mintues later she goes under the slide with some of the kids again and they are all throwing the wood chips and dirt! I yank Lauren out and she is covered in dirt and mud! I wipe her off and tell her she is NOT to do this. To go play. She explodes and says NO I AM PLAYING PIRATES! So I tell explain to her go play or we are leaving. She then tells me she is NOT LEAVING and RUns from me!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like WHAT! So I grab the child up and spank her all the while she is screaming at the top of her lungs I AM NOT LEAVING I AM PLAYING PIRATES!! So she is kicking and screaming and I spank her and put her in the stroller and tell her we are leaving. She actually tried to get OUT of the stroller!!!!! I yanked her back in there and she screamed until I got her in the truck! Still telling me she isnt leaving she wants to play! SO we get home go eat lunch she throws a fit in there for something not a big one but at this point I have had enough! We leave and go grocery shopping. Thank goodness for the little car carts. She did fine there and I think we were both too tired to fight anymore! She also pooped her pants when we were at home for a mintue before lunch and then came home from the grocery store and had a pee accident! I swear someone has taken over my child and it is NOT good! It is only 3:00 is that too early for a drink??? I am ready for a nice hot bubble bath and a stiff drink! At least she is taking a nap right now!!!!!!!

It snowed today!

Today we woke up to snow!!! It was a good ground cover so we ate breakfast and quickly went out to play! Good thing we did b/c within a few mintues once the sun came out it was gone! When she first got our there she said "I dont like the snow"!! lol! But then she told me her face was freezing but didnt want to go in!! She had fun! She had fun chasing me around the yard throwing snowballs at me!!!

This is what I came up with. Still not exactly what I was going for but at least I can print this one. Maybe I will play later today some more.

Isnt this cute! Some more pics from our shoot today. I didnt make this template but it was my idea. I am working on another one that I can actually print out!!

My little butterfly!

While Lauren and Jon were playing hide and seek this afternoon she found her butterfly wings and headband. So she had to have them on of course! Jon made them fit and they look so cute on her! She is still wearing them! Not sure how I will get her to take them off for bed!!! lol!! I will post a pic later or tomorrow.

Oh she was looking at the pics I took of her earlier today and she said look at my hair mommy I dont like it!!!! But even Jon said it was cute on her curled! And yes she still has curls right now!!!!!!!!

Preview of the Valentine shoot

We did a Valentine shoot today! Here is a preview of it! It really turned out cute! I rolled Lauren's hair with some steam rollers and it turned out great! It holds the curl better with these rollers than anything else I have tried. They will work great for my hair also! More pics to come when I get done editing them!!!

What we did today

It is so cold so we did all sorts of things. Here she was dancing of course she had to have her tutu on!

We also got the playdoh out. She loves this stuff! She has mastered this little toy that we got her for Christmas. When I started taking the pics she told me "no mommy I am playing playdoh not pictures! "

We also had to do her new favorite hide and seek. When I went to find her one time she was trying to get under her bed. Cassius was trying to get under there also. She told him he was too big to get under the bed!

No that doesnt match!

I asked Lauren if she wanted to wear a bow today and she said yes and went to go pick one out. Ok if you would have told me that a 2.5 yr old would be able to pick out her own bows I would have thought you were crazy! BUT my child does! She is wearing black pants and a green top. She looked up and said hmm black pant green shirt need black bow! I said no lets wear blue we can put some color to the outfit. She says NO I wear pink bow! Pink matches blue not match! I was in amazement and said well ok then! lol!!

She is a bottomless pit today!

I am in shock right now! She ate a whole bowl of cereal for breakfast. We went to the grocery store and I got her the chicken nuggets in the lunchables. She used to eat them all the time but got burnt out I guess. Well we got home and she ate all the nuggets and looked at me and wanted more!!!!! Then she ate a single serve ice cream bowl and wanted another one! Instead she is eating some yogurt. I am so glad she is eating! I sure hope she keeps this up!

Lauren baking cookies

We decided we would make some cookies for Jon. I let her do it all and she did great! She was so proud of herself!

Yeah I cheated and went with the super easy to make cookies!!

We were playing in her rose petal cottage before we made cookies and she was just too cute so I had to get some snapshots!
