They had a St. Jude trike a thon at Lauren's school this past week.  She was so excited to ride her bike in it.  Little did we know that most kids already had a big bike.  Lauren didnt seem to mind though.  Jon went up there and took pics and video.  For some reason he couldnt get her helmet on right. 

Allison 6 months old today!

 My baby girl is 6 months old today! The picture is not edited yet but I had to post a picture of her! Yesterday I gave Alli a sippy cup and a biter buscuit.  She did well with the cup she mostly wanted to chew on it.  The buscuit made me very nervous! She didnt gnaw on it like I thought she would.  She just took a huge bite off of it! I got scared and took it away from her but she did pretty good with it.

This was a few days ago before she was sitting up! LOOK!! She is sitting up!!I took these on Monday.  This was the first time she played with this toy and she loves it! It is really cute! Lauren really likes to play with it also.  Lauren keeps asking me can Allison come play with her toy! That way she can go in there and play too. This was just a few hours ago.  I sat the playpen up so Alli could enjoy the weather without being held the whole time.  Today was rough! She wouldnt let me be out of her site or put her down! Except for while we were outside.  She also only took a 30 minute nap today so needless to say we were outside ALOT today!!

Building the playhouse

Here are some pictures of the on going process of building the playhouse for the Girls.  You see Lauren has been working hard on it!! Pawpaw and Uncle Daffin are doing a great job on it!!

Sitting up!!

Allison is sitting up now!! I set up a toy that we gave her for christmas and I sat her in front of it and she has been sitting up for a few seconds but that was it.  But today she just sat there looking at the toy!! When she goes to pick up a toy she looses her balance most of the time but I bet it wont be long before she stops that.  She looked like such a big girl playing with the toy sitting up all by herself!! I was just afraid to get too far from her in case she fell over.  I took some pics and I will put them on here in a few days. 

playhouse, cheeseburger, and camping out!

Yesterday I got a little cheeseburger and I was holding Allison and the cheeseburger.  Alli reached down and grabbed her a handful and went straight to her mouth!!! I grabbed it from her before she actually ate any but I was so shocked she would even know what to do with it!!

I have lots of pictures to post but my laptop wont stay on long enough for me upload them.  So soon I will be able to get them on here.

Mimi and Pawpaw are in the process of building Lauren and Allison's playhouse.  It is going to be so cute!!! Lauren is so excited about it!

Jon and Lauren camped out here in the backyard Saturday night.  She LOVED it! She hates marshmellows but still toasted a few and her hotdog.  It was chilly but they slept there all night long! Jon actually came in first and Lauren wanted to stay in the tent sunday morning.  While we were cooking our dinner Lauren looked up and said look there is the big dipper.  Jon said no it isnt.  Of course Lauren argued that she was right so Jon looked up and he was so shocked that it really was the big dipper!!!

Lauren and I went last week to pick out her birthday party supplies!! Now she is all set for her birthday! Everyday she asks me is my birhtday today!!!

Creative!

We got these water guns for Lauren for easter.  They look like a big thin crayon and shoot the water out really far.  After she got tired of squirting the dogs she moved on to the fence! I thought it was a great idea! She called it her masterpiece! She said she painted the boo brothers which are on Casper.  They do look alot like them!! She is so creative!!

Allison taking time out of playing to give me a smile for a picture! She is almost sitting up by herself.  I give her a few more weeks and she will have it!

Easter wknd

We started Easter wknd at my parents house.  The kids had so much fun playing together.  It has been a long time since they have seen each other.  When we pulled up Lauren said who is that! I told her and she said wow they have grown!!! They had the best time in these cars.  Jon said at one point they were playing bumper cars! then it was time to hide some eggs! Some of the eggs had treats in them well if Colton would find an egg with nothing in it then he would give it to Lauren! They both would shake the eggs first! Alli got a cool new toy! The balls moves on it own.  She just lights up when it starts going off.  Lauren was proud of the mud she got on her face! She is such a tomboy! They all flew kites.  It was the perfect wknd for it!

Then it was easter morning at our house.  Lauren was so excited to get the movie princess and the frog!

Then later that afternoon we went to Jon's family.  Lauren had a good time running all over the place.  She liked to go down to the pond and walk around.  I didnt get any pics of Alli.  Most of the time I was feeding her or whatnot.  Jon got most of the pics all wknd.  Then Jon started working on a old car down there and I was flying a kite with Lauren so no pics of Alli.
