Soaking up the sun!

We spent most of the day outside today. This morning was a trip to Bontical Gardens and then the afternoon just in the back yard. Lauren loves her new sunglasses!

Yep she is Tall!!!

I have had alot of people comment on how tall Lauren looks in the pictures and even people just when we are out when I tell them how old she is they always say wow what a big girl! Last night Jon and I measured her and marked it on her growth chart and 34 1/2" tall and 24lbs at her last doctors appointment last week. So yes I guess she is tall!! I never would have thought I would have a tall child!! lol!!

The Birthday outfit!

I wanted to get some pics of Lauren in her birthday outfit with the white backdrop. Although I hate indoor shots these will work. I know I will get so many at her party this weekend. Problem is with the outfit is that the skirt is STILL too big! There seems to be a huge difference between an 18 month and a 24 months!

When I showed Jon the pics he got a funny look on his face and I asked him if he didnt like them. He said No, it isnt that it is just that she looks like she is 4 years old!!! lol! I think he is feeling the oh my baby is growing up too!

Yesterday I was putting our outdoor storage box together and my knee was about to pop out of place or whatever it does so I had to get off of it real quick and Lauren was running around me and the box and she stopped because she knew I was in pain and she put her hand on my shoulder and said something I didnt understand at first then I asked her to say it again and she was asking me if I was ok!!!! She is so sweet!! Once I said yes she patted my shoulder and started running around the box and me again!!

Just as I thought!

Today Jon took Lauren to her swimming lesson. She wasn't able to go last week due to being sick so this was the first time going with Jon. It was just as I thought, she did GREAT!! Jon came in grinning from ear to ear and said "so she wouldn't even get in the water with you" And she did but only for a second. Well he said she was ready to get right in and did so good! She was using one of those floaty things that goes out in front of you and you kick your legs. She did that great! The instructor was trying to get Jon to show her how to go underwater and blow bubbles but they didn't get that down just yet. But she did like bobbing up and down in the water! I think it is great for being her second time in the pool!!!

Put it in the fridge!

The other day we were leaving to run errands and Lauren had her milk so I told her let's put it in the fridge. So she runs in the playroom. I am thinking she just isnt wanting to leave yet. So I go in the playroom and I tell her again we are leaving let's put your milk up. She says uh huh and opens her play kitchen and shows me that she DID put her milk in HER fridge!!! lol!! She is so smart!!!

Back to the doctor today

I had to take Lauren back to the doctor today because she just wasn't getting much better. Her last day of the antibotics were to be tomorrow! So her ears are still red and she has tonsilist! My poor baby! We got another antibotic and I hope this works MUCH better!

NO FEVER!!

Finally Lauren woke up this morning without fever! She still hasn't wanted to eat anything yet but at least she is feeling better. Since it is nice today maybe we can have some fun!!

Day 3 of fever!

Today is the 3rd day Lauren is running fever. She woke up with one on Thrusday and the doctor didn't want to see her until Friday. She has a sore throat and ear infection! She is ok when her fever is done except she hasn't ate or drink much. I am trying everything I can think of!! I am hoping the fever will break for good today or this evening! I guess it isn't too bad we made it almost two years before she got really sick.

Toddler bed success!!!!

Lauren did great changing over to the toddler bed!!! She laid down for a nap and bedtime great!! When she gets up she gets mad since she can't open the door since we have the door knob thing on it. So she got up earlier than usual this morning which throws my morning off of being to get ready but we will figure it out!!

Moving to toddler bed!

Since Lauren could get out of her crib we moved her to her toddler bed today. She climbed up in and said Wow! I hope she thinks wow tonight when it is bed time!!

Swim lessons!

Today Lauren started her swim lessons. It is a parent/toddler class and I went with her. It was COLD and she wasn't interested in getting in the water as much as she was getting a toy from the toy box and sitting on the side of the pool. With it being her first time at a pool I guess it was good. She let me put her in three times to go get a ball. Mommy got wet and Lauren just got a little wet! Something is wrong with that!!! So there was a Dad in the class so for the next 5 weeks Daddy will be taking Lauren! I think she will do much better with Jon there anyway. That is more of his thing and it can be their thing to do together once a week. At least Lauren did say she wanted to come back next week to it!!

Lauren climbed out of the crib today with the rail up!!!!!!!!!!! I had put her down for a nap and she finally got quiet so I thought she was asleep....then I hear a strange noise and then Momma! I went to the door and she met there!!!! Looks like we will be changing to the toddler bed!

Lauren's first dirt bike ride!

Today might have been Jon's proudest day ever! Lauren wanted on the dirt bike and she did NOT want to get off! She LOVED it! As much as I would like for her not to I think she will be a motorcyle rider like her Daddy! Sorry the pics came out kinda blurry it was hard to get a good one as they were moving!! lol!

Today was nice so we spent most of the day outside. Jon was home so he started mowing the yard and took Lauren for a ride also! She loved it! She cried when they had to put it up!!

We also found out today that she can climb into her crib and out if the rail is down! I am kinda sad about my baby girl growing up so fast!! I am NOT ready for a big girl bed yet!!
