Sad news

I found out yesterday I am miscarrying. The baby stopped growing at 6 wks. I know they say things happen for a reason but I just can't see that right now.

Ok you are not going to believe this

I did take some pics on christmas but I didnt get any of the important pics! I am blaming it on pregnancy brain...that is the only thing I can think of! I just got some not so great pics of Lauren unwrapping gifts. I really wanted to get some great family pics of everyone! Oh well...next holiday...or next year!

Christmas has come and gone!

Lauren had a great Christmas. She is wore out today and so am I! On Christmas Eve night we did Christmas with Jon's family and you know what her favorite thing to play with was! Jon's new flashlight!! lol! I think we will need a trailor next year to bring Christmas presents home with going to have two kids! On Christmas day we went to my parents house. What she wanted to do the entire time was watch the train my Dad had set up and play with the fire engine! This girl likes to wear dresses and jewerly but she sure is a tom boy!! I am still in the process of taking toys out of their packages and Jon still has things he has to put together! We got home pretty late last night and I went to bed at 8:30. I just couldnt keep my eyes open! It was a great Christmas! OH on Christmas morning I was all excited thinking Lauren was going to go wild at opening her gifts but nope! She LOVES her rose petal cottage and I think all the stuff was just so overwelming to her and she didnt know where to start! After a few presents she got distracted by the cat and wanted to go play with him and not open her presents!! We finally got it all opened up and she went from one toy to the next checking it out!

I am now ready to get all the Christmas stuff put up! I put a few things away today and will do most tomorrow. I am ready to get my house back to normal!

Oh yeah she got a tool bench thing and that was such a hit!! She is all about fixin stuff!! lol!

I sure hope the link works! You have got to hear this song! It is A Baby changes everything by Faith Hill. I am just in tears listening to it. It is beautiful! I am trying to watch Home for the Holidays and I just cant do it. I am way too emotional with this pregnancy and cry at the drop of a hat and this show I just can't watch but I am so glad I found this song on it.


Ms Lauren is sooooo ready for Christmas! We all are!! The fun starts tomorrow!! I can't wait to see her face Christmas morning! I bet I will cry then too!! LOL!!

Nice weather!

Today is oddly warm so I took Lauren to the park and we walked a mile. It was too wet for her to play on the playground but she had a good time pushing the stroller and running rest of the way. We painted for a little bit but the wind was just too bad and kept blowing the paper away.

Lauren's new thing to say is "it's my favorite"! She says this to almost everything! It is cute how she says!

The difference between a boy and a girl

This is so funny! I have my nephew who is 3 over right now. Lauren is all about tea parties lately. She says Colton let's have a tea party! So Colton says OH ok! Then he says what is a tea party!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! Lauren just looked at him funny and kept pouring the tea!!!!

We are going to make some Christmas cookies today. That sweet craving got to me today!!! lol!

Trip to Enchanted Forrest!

We went to the Enchanted Forrest today. It was my parents, Lauren and me. Lauren had a great time! She loved the train the most just like she did last year. She at first was excited to see Santa then in line she didnt want to see him! So it was her turn and she was NOT going to sit on his lap so they had a little rocking horse and I asked if it was ok to use that and so we did that. It was so cute!! I will post that later. She told Santa she wanted a baby doll!!!

I dont have the candy cane...

I was trying to get Lauren ready so we could go meet Jon for lunch. I have this snowman that counts down the days till Christmas with a candy cane. Lauren notices it about every 3 days. Today she found it and instead of moving it to a day she decided she would rather play with it. I was trying to get her to put her coat on and I walked in the room and she turned around really fast with that oh no I have been caught look on her face! And said I dont have the candy cane I dont! lol!! She just told on herself!! That is good though at least for now I will know when she has done something wrong!!!

Just some stuff

Yesterday Lauren was playing in the play room with Jon and I went in there and sat down. She said look mommy I scratch my wrist. I asked how she did it and she mommy did it!!!!!!! I said no I didnt!! Then she said that Dora scratched her!! lol!! Her imagination is really blossoming!

On our way to eat dinner for her Pawpaw's birthday she wanted to listen to Christmas music. When I turned it off and was going to listen to a cd and it was louder than the radio. Well as soon as it came on she said TOO LOUD!!! lol!!

2.5 has turned into my new favorite age. You just never know what is going to come out of her mouth next!! lol!!

One night last week she said she was ready to go bye bye and I said what do you have a date tonight? She said yes! I said with who and she said Santa Clause!!!! lol!!!

Lauren saw Santa at Kroger?!

Yeah at Kroger! lol! We were getting groceries and I see this man with a Santa hat on and a white beard. He worked there but he SOOOO looked like Santa! I wonder if I could hire him to do Santa pics for me!! Anyway his name tag said Santa. I gave him a funny look and smiled and thought uh no way! Then he said hey to Lauren and she light up!! It was just precious! She said SANTA!!! And Santa Clause coming to town! He asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she said hmmm I dont know. He said what about a baby doll then she said oh yeah a baby doll!! Then she told him bye Santa! And kept talking about him the rest of the time we were there!! She kept saying where is Santa at now?!! lol!! It was so cute!

A few from yesterday

It was pretty warm yesterday but real windy but we got outside and played for a few hours. In the first pic she was saying lasso! She was trying to lasso her ball on the ground!

My girl is so silly!

LOL!!! We are sitting here watching tv and Lauren is watching Miss Spider well it is about some stuffed animal to sleep with something like that. Lauren comes up to me and says with a very sad look "Momma I lost my cat doll" (which is what they called it on tv) and then she says "I can't sleep without it"!!!!!!!!!!!! I just couldnt stop laughing!!! She just soaks it all in!!! I have a feeling she will say it again when I put her to bed!! And try to use it to stay up longer!!

Sort of anyway. The back of the house isnt done. It will work for this for the front of the house. I would like to do several more things but it will just have to be next year.

We did our family Christmas pics today. They came out ok. I guess one good pic is better than no pics at all! It is really hard to pose yourself into a picture!! And Lauren kept giving me funny smiles!

Ping Pong

Jon was given a ping pong table and it is like brand new! He set it up in my studio Friday night. Lauren has so much fun chasing the balls for us. She tried to hit it a few times and got it a few times but she mostly likes chasing the balls around. Last night we were playing and she didnt want to share any of the balls with us. Jon has once again found out that I am the least athletic person he has ever met!!! So needless to say we have alot of laughs while we are trying to play!

Lauren's first movie

We took Lauren today to see Madagascar 2. I thought she was going to love it because she likes to watch movies here at the house. Well she wanted to play with the chair, not sit still, and NOT watch the movie. Somehow we made it through it. Good thing I brought her lots of food to eat on! She didnt care a thing about watching the movie! So we wont be taking her back to the movies till oh she is about 6!

The box

Lauren has been playing with the Dyson box since we brought it home. My Mom also got her this plastic snowglobe that sings and lights up. Well when I put her to bed last night she fell asleep to the thing going. I had to go in there and turn it off. She woke up at 2 am and turned it back on and brought the box from the living room into her room!!!!!! I just put her back to bed and she had the snow globe on ALL night! The batteries are dead now! What a shame!! lol!

Santa came early to me!

I got my Christmas present today out of need more than anything else. Our vaccum went out and it has been driving me crazy!!!!! So my Mom got us a Dyson for Christmas!!!! My house looks soooo good now! Well besides the stains I have but still!!! The Dyson works GREAT!!!!

Putting the angel on top of the tree

I put the lights on the tree tonight so Lauren had to put the angel on top. The angel fell 4 times before we decided that Jon would just have to do it! She got to laughing so hard there was no way she could put it up there! She really loved helping me put the lights on the tree!

My girl is sosooooo smart!

We went out to get the mail and she had a card in there from her Mimi and Pawpaw. So she ripped it open and I asked her what does it say? She looks at me and says "Happy Thanksgiving"!!!!!! I said WHAT and looked at the card and OMG it did say it!!!!!!!! She is just so smart!

So if you havent heard

We are having another baby! We found out last week but we wanted to tell the parents first and our first chance with past weekend. Lauren is excited for now! lol! Not that she really understands what it means yet. I go to the doctor on Dec 1st. As of now my EDD is July 21st. I just pray that this little one goes to full term and I have a healthy baby and pregnancy! At some point I will turn this blog into both of theirs b/c so much will overlap I am not going to do two of them.

Another year older

Saturday was my birthday. A big one but still in a way depressing. What was so great about it though was Lauren always telling me happy birthday. Actually she is still telling me! lol! So we had a wknd filled with birthday dinners. Jon and I went out alone on saturday night and had a nice time.

I kept my two nephews today with Lauren in wynne and man what a day! They werent bad but just alot of work!! lol! I dont know how mom's with several kids get anything done! Lauren had a great time and she just told us that she missed them!!
