Halloween Fun!!

Tonight brought the fun back into Halloween!!! You know as a kid you are so excited to go trick or treating then you get older and Halloween just gets boring. Well the fun has been brought back to it! Watching Lauren get so excited about going trick or treating and seeing how happy she was when people would give her candy!! It was just the cutest sweetest thing ever! She was even going to share her candy with a older man across our street and of course she shared with Daddy for his favorite candy! Without Jon asking for it even!!! Her face would just light up when people would put candy in her basket. Jon kept telling her to say trick or treat but he would tell her before someone opened the door so she would say it before most of the people heard it! I was worried about her going without a friend but she didnt care one bit! It was alot of fun for all of us. We were out most of the night so we really didnt have any trick or treaters come by here. That and b/c the entire cove was across the street so no one would walk through the cove to see that I did leave candy by the door just in case someone did come by. That is ok Lauren wont mind having more suckers to eat! We went to Mimi and Grandpa's to trick or treat and there she was able to hand out some candy so she got to experience it all this year! She had alot of fun going through all her candy and moving it around every where!

The Great Pumpkin!

Tonight we did are family tradition of carving the pumpkin and watching Charlie Brown's The great pumpkin. This is the first year Lauren would actually watch it though!! lol!! Lauren did NOT want to put her hand in the pumpkin to clean it out. She kept saying ewww gross and what a mess! She did clean up a few seeds though. She said they were slippery. Excuse how she looks it is bedtime!!

Pete and Repeat!

Jon just said wow she is repeating everything!! Well I have been telling him to watch what he says around her so he just says "oh that sucks" so guess what Lauren started saying!!!!!!!

Forgot something cute she did!

Last week while we were shopping with my Mom Lauren found this pillow and started playing with it. She starts hugging it and saying " I love it!!" It was so cute!!! So there was NO way we were leaving without that pillow!

Also she is doing GREAT with her potty training! Not an accident all day today and she was dry when she got up from her nap!! I am so proud of her!!

She also is speaking in full sentences all the time! And she also sings the abc song all the time. It goes abcd la la abcd.... she has the tune to it down but I just keep adding letters to it!!

We went down to Wynne for my nephew's first birthday party on Sunday. After the party we were at my parents house and of course Lauren had to drive the golf cart. Jon and her were "fishing" on the deck in the second picture.

She loved Colton's guitar! She was so cute playing it. When I saw her doing it the first time was the best. She looked like a rockstar!!

What else to do on a raining day but bake!

It has been raining all day today so this morning I took some test pics with a new backdrop I have and Lauren wasnt into it so nothing came out good. Then we ate lunch and made cupcakes!! She did so good lining the cupcake pan and pouring the batter into the cups! She iced one of them and just wanted to eat it! And of course Daddy had to have one also! I was able to get a few pics while we were making them, I just havent uploaded them yet.

Finally she says it!!

Here name that is! For the longest time she would not say her name. This morning I thought well maybe she just can't say it. Jon was doing l sounds and finally she said her name!! It was the cutest thing too! She started saying her name was baby but maybe she will use her real name now!!

The annual pumpkin patch trip

We went to the pumpkin patch today. There was a ton of people there so the kids were so not wanting to get pics done. As you can tell they didn't look too happy! Of course all Lauren wanted to do is go play! These pics that are first are of the kids laughing at Jon riding his dirt bike. For some reason it was the funniest thing! I really wish I could have taped what they were doing. It was really cute!
