Car show

Yesterday Jon and Lauren went to a car show. Lauren said she had a good time but didnt want to go back. She liked the pink car the best she told me. It was hot and Jon said it wasnt a great car show so they werent gone too long at all. Jon saw some of buddies of his there and Lauren would not talk to them! She hid behind Jon and said she was shy!!! Our child is anything but shy!!! lol! She will be in her little car shopping cart at the grocery store and start honking and saying excuse me to people that are in front of us!

Delta Fair

Today we took Lauren to the Delta Fair. It was suppossed to have been nice and cool well it wasnt! It was HOT! I waddled around for a little bit but at one point I just had enough! So I sat in the nice cool car until they got finished riding some rides. That was the first thing Lauren said when we pulled up was "I want to ride the rollercoaster!" She wanted to ride all the rides! Most of them she wasnt tall enough for and Jon had to ride all of them with her except for one. She loved it though! The first picture is of them waiting in line for the ferris wheel.

Then Lauren wanted to do the tilt a whirl. Jon said she laughed the whole time and loved it. He was ready to get off of it though! We had just ate and he wasnt feeling so great!!!

This ride was a little rollercoaster and I did not think Jon was going to fit in the cart! He said he just barely did!

Lauren had a great time so it is worth my whole body hurting now!! lol! We just need to remember next year to save up to go here b/c man it was expensive!

The first pic I had my camera out and she said take a picture of me! Of course I am going to!! Maybe she is having withdrawls since I havent had it out as much lately. That will change soon!!! lol!!

Lauren's favorites

I thought I would do a post on Lauren's favorite things. I know I wont remember them all if I dont write them down.
1. Her pink blanket...still!!! lol! Has to sleep with it and when she is upset it is a must!
2. Her favorite sandwich is peanut butter and jelly.
3. Her favorite book is The Gruffalow.
4. LOVES to ride her bike with Daddy.
5. She is really getting into letters and numbers. She loves to play with them and "build a word" from the show word world. She is even writing letters now.
6. She loves to make up songs to sing!
7. OH and her favorite ice cream is vanilla.
8. Lauren loves to play with blocks also. She always wants to build a house with them.

Do we have a bully on our hands?

As usual I picked Lauren up from school today and she would not tell me what she did. She just kept saying "I dont know" well I kept on and while we were eating lunch I asked if she cried today and she said yeah because I pushed my friend off the seesaw! I asked why she did that and it was I dont know. Then I asked if she said sorry and she said NO! I asked if the teacher got on to her she said no to that also but I know they had to have or she wouldnt have been crying. The teacher didnt say anything to me about it. This girl has a mean streak in her!!!

32 wks! 8 months!

Today marks 32 wks. That is 8 months! I had a check up on Monday that went well. She said she was amazed at how well this pregnancy is going versus how Lauren's was. With Lauren this week I was going into the hospital! I am sure hoping I still have till end of Oct b/c I just still do not feel ready! The doctor also told me that Allison did alot of growing over the last two wks. I know this b/c I am running my belly into things and can't fit well into places!!

Today is Jon's birthday! Lauren got up early and got in bed with me and she sang Happy Birthday to him first thing! They played outside for a bit and tonight we are going to Outback to celebrate. I am not sure who is more excited about the ice cream cake I got Jon or Lauren!!!

Lauren's first day full day of preschool

Today Lauren had a full day of preschool. 9 to 12. When I dropped her off she didnt even tell me bye! She ran right on in and started getting toys out and playing with the kids. When I picked her she was all quiet and I asked her if she was ok when we were in the car and she said in a whisper you have to be quiet when you say your prayers. Then she said she cried twice but I can't get it out of her why she was crying. All I got was that something about she had to sit in a red chair b/c something about the turtle on the rug. ?? Who knows. Jon asked her and she said it was a secret!!! lol! The note she got home was a good one so I guess all is good. She is wore out! I am hoping for a nap this afternoon!!!
