I made a homemade apple pie!

It may not be the prettiest ever but I will work on that. But it is oohhhh soooo goood!!!! Taste just like how my Mom makes them! Figures I used her recipe!! Lauren saw it after her nap and she said "oh pie'! I told her I made it for her and she said "Thanks!" It was cute! I made a homemade white cake with icing a few days ago and it was really good also! I love to bake I just dont want to eat all of what I want to bake!!! I really should start giving them away!!!

Apple picking, pumpkins, and a bird!?

We went to the apple orchard today to pick some apples. It is super late in the season to do it so next year I will be more prepared for it! It was alot of fun though. I can only imagine how it looked with tons of apples on the trees. Lauren thought it was the best! First she LOVED to carry around the bucket. She keep saying "I pick apples!" Jon had to pick her up to get most of them since the trees were so bare. She wasnt so sure about all the apples on the ground though. We also saw some cherries. Then we went back to pay for our apples and they had some pumpkins set up beside it so I got some pics. Lauren picked out her own pumpkin. As you see in one of the pics she dropped one too!! She enjoyed running around playing with all the pumpkins and trying to pick them up. When I asked her on our way home what she liked the best she said picking apples!! Then we came home to drop off our goodies and these were some little apples so she wanted one. I have never given her an apple without cutting it so I thought I would see how she did with it. She just LOVED It!! She ended up eating two already! I hope I have enough to make a pie!!

Later we were outside in the front yard riding her bike and I looked up and this HUGE bird is circling! I thought OH NO Jasmine! My little 5lb maltese! I have always had a fear of her getting snatched up by a bird! ?? So I put her inside and got my camera to take a pic of it. It was futher away by then but I still got a pic of it. It was pretty far away that is why it is blurry.

Anyway I think we have a new family tradition of going to the apple orchard!

She ate the whole thing!

Lauren and I had a picnic today out in the backyard and she ate it all again! I will have to do that more often! I fixed her a ice cream home and OH MY she ate it all!!! Every last bit of it! I couldnt believe it! She was a mess after it but that is just half the fun!!

I found this super cute white wicker chair the other day and I have been looking for one for awhile now! Then Mimi (Jon's Mom) got Lauren the pumpkin kitty from Build a Bear and I just knew I had to take these pics! Sorry so many but I just couldnt decide which ones to post! The ones of her in another super cute halloween outfit was right after we did our photo shoot. You see how I get so many cute pics lately!! lol! She LOVES her suckers! Yesterday she had a grape tooties pop for the first time. I didnt think she would eat it all but she did! I am going to have to come up with a way to get rid of all the halloween candy!!! lol! She does have a HUGE sweet tooth!

Why Why Why

This is Lauren's new word. WHY I tell her to do something and it is "but why" over and over again! I do understand this is how she learns but it does get annoying to hear it over and over again!!! lol!!
